My son who has lost his father and is an adult needs support group and healthy activities and learning. And healing for this loss.
We have 3 amazing children! All 3 are in need of proper diagnosis & effective treatment plans & providers. As parents, we need strength and grace and mercy for total restoration for our marriage and our family’s health. Thank you for your prayers for all of us.
My 24-year-old daughter has had multiple physical and mental health problems for years. She isn't working because she hasn't been able to... but now she's doing better and still isn't working. She keeps asking me for money and I'm running dry. She uses manipulation to make me feel bad and I'm so tired of it. I don't know what to do. I love her dearly but I'm so tired of it. I need strength to stand up to her and compassion to show her I love her in spite of her attitude. Thanks.
Since my father-in-law passed while on hospice at home in September 2022, my husband has been grieving his loss. This has been compounded by troubling current events around the world which have greatly affected his work and our finances. Thank God we have a strong marriage, due in part to Rising Above Ministries. Please pray for my husband and our family.
Pray for an upcoming meeting in reference to our twins with multiple disabilities. They are 23 years old and have a lot going on. God knows all about it. We are ready to see clarity to an important decision we will be making this evening. Thank you
Please pray for 1) our upcoming summer break. My 8 yr old with a rare genetic disorder starts having behavior problems after only 2 days at home! Pray for contentment, for my strength and grace, and for activities to help us all.
2) my husband is depressed and struggling with his faith. He is still an involved dad and we enjoy time together - praise! - but he can get sullen and angry. I pray for his joy.
Please pray for the Vandestreek family. My friend, Ginny, passed away on Thursday. She and her husband adopted their 2 now adult sons with special needs. The son who still lives with them is having difficulty understanding that Mom won’t come back home. Please pray for peace and understanding, grace for her husband, Jack, of 42 years and comfort for their other children, grandchildren and friends.
My now 14 yo on the spectrum has decided he can’t go to school. This is I believe, a multi factorial problem: performance anxiety, changes in classroom, separation anxiety d/t some personal issues he is comfortable with me handling and not someone else, some sensory overload and hormonal changes. It seems like a lot but I know God is faithful! Please pray we find the best solutions !! And that we are patient while waiting for God to reveal His will.
I want to trust God and also want to know how to interact with my husband who I have seperated from for the past 6+ years. I would like it to work and he says so too but he has a girlfriend presently that he's not keen on giving up because of our past. I know divorce is a big decision and I want to know God's truth on it.. please pray that God gives me discernment, not for myself to manipulate and control but for his glory
